Russ Sutton - CEO & Chairman

Monolith’s conception began over thirty years ago when President Russ Sutton started his career in the construction and general contracting industry. Fifteen years ago, Mr. Sutton changed career paths to open a custom commercial millwork and cabinet shop focusing on the hospitality industry. After years of managing customers and growing relationships, Russ launched Monolith Hospitality to provide the turnkey design and construction services his customers needed.

Vince Murphy - President

Vince oversees every aspect of Monolith Hospitality's renovation projects. From estimating and bidding to product & subcontract buyout and project management, Vince brings the level of organization and dedication required for a successful construction project.

Vince began his career in the restaurant business, but has used his knowledge of construction to provide years of value and experience to Monolith Hospitality.

Cory Thomas - VP of Business Development

Cory manages the development of new business for Monolith Hospitality. He began his career in the hospitality industry in 2004, eventually moving to Monolith to grow the business within the hospitality industry.

Cory graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a degree in Marketing/International Business.

Amber-Rhiannon Gibson - Senior Designer

Amber-Rhiannon began professional designing as an intern for Monolith during her senior year at the Art Institute of Atlanta.  An honor student at the Art Institute, she was awarded Most Outstanding Contributor to the Interior Design Department for her work as ASID Student Chapter President and her volunteer work with organizations like Habitat for Humanity.  Her unique boutique-hotel design was a prize winner in the 2008 Design Star competition.

Erin Tabolt - Designer

Erin is a designer for Monolith.  Before joining Monolith, she worked as a design consultant for Intercontinental Hotels Group, gaining hospitality experience from a brand perspective.

Erin received her Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design and was Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in English and Studio Art.

Catherine Mansell - Purchasing Manager
Catherine currently heads Monolith’s procurement department, handling all FF&E and construction material purchasing.  With more than twelve years of experience in the construction industry, she brings invaluable, hands-on knowledge to our team.   

Catherine graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with an Associate in Arts degree in photography.
